Nestled in a prominent position at the entrance to the Swan Valley, this family run business does things the old fashioned way, carving itself a reputation as a local icon.
Since 1925, the Edgecombe family has grown and sold quality fresh produce along with a range of table wines served with warm hospitality.
Fresh, fresh, fresh is the family motto as they grow and pick their own produce - from table grapes to rock melons, watermelons, pumpkins and olives.
Asparagus is grown on the property and hand picked fresh every day between the months of September and March. People travel from all over Perth to buy green and purple varieties of this gourmet vegetable.
They produce sweet corn, chillies, tomatoes, citrus fruit and sell free range eggs.
A line of preserves from jams, pickles, sauces, chutneys, lemon and passion fruit butters and flavoured salts to olive oils produced sometimes using olives from the groves in full view of diners in the properties' alfresco dining area.
Edgecombe Brothers also have a gourmet cheese pantry which features cheeses from Blue Cow.
Edgecombe Brothers is one of the only vineyards that still dries its' own fruit. Flame seedless and sultana grapes are sun-dried on wire racks in the vineyard with no additives. Fruit dried in this manner is good for you and delicious served with cheese or soaked in Muscat Liqueur and served as a preserve.
